Escom Properties, Inc. is a privately held property management company, incorporated in 1988 by Ernest and Beverly Swanson.  In recent years shares of the corporation were offered to key personnel. There are currently 5 stockholders. Escom Properties provides property maintenance, consulting and accounting services.

When Escom Properties, opened their doors in 1988, it was to manage the Wedgwood Commerce Centre in Maple Grove for TOLD Development Company. The close affiliation with Bryant Wangard and Ralph Robinson (previously from Opus) encouraged the establishment of this property management business.

With their general headquarters located in Maple Grove, Minnesota, Escom also has offices in the Minneapolis suburbs of Plymouth and Richfield, and the Milwaukee suburb of Waukesha. We currently manage 2.1 million square feet of office, medical, industrial and retail properties.

The key to Escom's success is our policy of staying focused as a service organization, both in the field and in the office. We have qualified engineers on call 24 hours to deal with emergencies or other problems, and a professional staff in the office to give our tenants the service they require.

Ernest Swanson has been a proactive participant in the building maintenance and engineering field for over 25 years. His consulting services have aided in the successful design and implementation of quality, cost effective building maintenance.

Beverly Swanson's numerous years of office administration and accounting compliment her partner's approach as a service organization, by providing a dedicated office staff to handle administration including client inquiries. Tying in the office with the operations philosophy, the timely payment of vendors ensures continued prompt service and satisfied tenants.

Escom represents a variety of owners including developers, publishing companies, medical office buildings, retirement/trust funds, and other private investors. Besides being active with real estate service organizations such as BOMA and NAIOP, they are members of the North Hennepin Chamber of Commerce. They enjoy the relationships they have developed with current clients and look to continue to expand in areas where companies are outsourcing their property maintenance.
